You could learn a lot about a place from street signs

Language, names, measurement systems (Km/Miles), the venue types that the signs are directing the traffic to; these are all part of a simple street sign that tells you about the culture of the place that you are in.

In appreciation of street signs that best illustrate my point above, I have started creating trucker caps that hold iconic street signs from various cities around the world.
