Finally the sun was shining a little bit in the cosy town of Skagway :)!! I was so happy when we were on shore and we felt the nice warmth of the sun, instead of the rainy and colder days in Alaska. I really liked Skagway, but it was more touristic than the other places we've visited in Alaska.
There was one long street nearby the cruise ships with a lot of shops and it looked like when the tourists are gone this part of the city is gonna be empty. When we walked a little further we came accross this nice looking train you could take to go to the White Pass & Yukon Route. On this train they show you the beautiful landscape and they tell you all about the Gold Rush times.
It sounded really nice to do, but it was really thight to get back on time for the cruise ship to leave, so that's when we decided to go to Smuggler's cove, were you can enjoy the beautiful nature too and go for an hike.
Let me tell you, if you are there someday, you have to try fish & chips there (can't remember the name of the restaurant) outside on the terrace nearby the 'touristic street' .
It was a beautiful day and the best part.. we were aloud to go on the helicopter deck to make some great sunset pictures :), it was really stunning ;)
See ya!
xoxo
