Preparing Biscuits part1

Sometimes on the weekends I like to take it easy and try out some new things to incorporate into my lifestyle. Getting things in order at my own pace is the best way to recoup from a busy week and still feel productive on my weekend. Trying out new things in my spare time is a great way to explore and find a little bit of self happiness. I don’t tend to have too many ‘lazy’ weekends as I enjoy doing something with my time rather than being idle.

For this weekend I thought it would be convenient to try out some new baking skills. I don’t tend to use my oven nearly enough and biscuits were seemingly an easy and convenient way to prepare some tasty treats for guests that would be visiting over the weekend.

After doing my early house cleaning, yoga and attending the garden I was finally free to give my ne hobby some attention. The first thing to do was to slsect a simple enough biscuit recipe and procure the ingredients. Luckily I had a stocked fridge with everything I needed for this little adventure so I was able to get to work relatively quickly.

In China there are a number of food based apps and of course recipes to try hailing rom all over the world. The selected biscuit recipe was very different from traditional Chinese treats and included quite a copious amount of sugar.
