My Photographic Experiences #9 : F1.4 and high iso !!!

in photography •  7 years ago

Last weekend, I had my annual contract with the council of europa. Indeed, each year, an evening is organized and a country is honored. This year it was the turn of the Czech Republic. The evening is always nice, and like for 4 years, I do my work professionally.
All this takes place in the form of** speeches, cocktails, traditional dance and thanks, all in the presence of the ambassador concerned and the staff of the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights**.
After all this always starts the evening party, with DJ and the night club atmosphere. This year, I wanted to take risks and use no flash. So I found myself chasing the light of the strobes and using my device in its retrenchment (ISO + 6400 and F1.4).
I'll let you judge the result. For me, it was a rather pleasant new experience that I wanted to share with you.
However, I would like to make one important point: the photos of the evening are not important for my sponsor, so I allowed myself to experiment. I do not think otherwise, I would have taken risks with my valued customers.

The sum of small efforts gives huge results

Hey @ekitcho !!! Good Question !!!! With my friend and partner @elmetro, we already have our airline tickets. The next weekend we will book our hotel. We missed the steemfest last year in Amsterdam, out of the question of not being there in Lisbonn.
You also make me remind myself that I have to hurry to write my cover letter to @roelandp to be among the official photographer of the event !!!!

might be a bit late, roeland is a well organized man :D probably all set up at that time hehe. Good luck, but you're still free to take great photos, -official- or not
