This picture shows a sea eagle surrounded by two puffins near Bleiksøya in the Atlantic ocean west of Andøya in northern Norway.
This eagle is Norway's largest eagle. The female eagle has a wingspan of two and a half meters. In the birds of prey, it is common that the female bird is larger than the male.
For a long time, this bird was threatened, and when this eagle was protected in 1968, one assumed that Norway had about 400 left. This protection helped this eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) to survive and now it is considered that the hedge population is more than 2000 pairs and still growing.
Very beautiful bird @siggjo
