Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Last night finally after 3 or 4 days I was able to get to sleep just before the usual late hour, it was very cold again at night and so I thought like yesterday I may have trouble sleeping without putting on a 2nd layer. But thankfully it was not needed to fall asleep, even with going to sleep earlier my intentions were to get extra sleep in the morning, and so I rested past the scheduled alarm.

So while this was the plan I did start to feel I was resting for a little too long it proved how tired I have been from the previous long work shifts, but I did need to get some things done for the day. Sure I didn't have to be up early for work today as I had the day off, however I did make a mistake of telling my friends that since they are busy this Sunday I could instead see them on Friday. Whoopps this was a mistake because I forgot that once again this Friday there was a colleague get together to I believe celebrate the Christmas holidays.

I think the last one was someone's birthday which I don't think my friends attended because they forgot "yikes". The truth is I didn't really want to go to this one, not so much because of the people but my main reason is the cold, followed my the 2nd reason which is it's kind of far. There are still more reasons like there is a 50% probability that people aren't going to be hanging out for too long, which brings me to more reasons like it's a bit pointless if I make my way all the way there spending time and money just to hang out for a while and then having to make the journey all the way back. Again spending more on transports when I could of just seen my friends at later time for free.

It's all kind of silly as I feel the main reason why they are attending this time is because I was free to attend with them, regardless I had to get on with todays chores or too much will be left for later on my return. As for the weather this morning it was mostly light but cold, gradually it started to get darker which I worried could mean rain on the way to seeing my friends later. When I left I was pleased that infact it wasn't that cold out and it remained light until I met my friends on the way.

Thanks to a friend I was speaking with yesterday he reminded me that there was a slightly easier way for me to get to where I was going. This made a big difference plus the weather remained decent without any rain or wind. As I expected there was a few times where I honestly felt bored as the people there were talking about their work and I'm not involved in that nor do I understand it as they use many terms which only they would understand.

The people were friendly enough and did make some efforts to welcome me but I was a little sad that rarely anything else outside of work related topics was mentioned. At some point we ordered food and again the prices are really good compared to most other places. Eventually people started leaving and me and my friends were the last to remain, rightly so because I wasn't going go all the way there for just a quick visit. To make it even better my friends decided on cabs back home as according to them not only would it be faster but cheaper for us, well definitely for me as they offered to pay which means I can't complain about that part anymore lol. Plus this would get me home faster in hopes of not having a very late night again, last time it was fun to get back into music for a sort while after finding a radio station, I liked it enough that it made me want to search for any possible events featuring those kind of tunes. I still haven't looked into it as many things do put me off a bit from looking, like the horrible cold weather at the moment, the cost of everything these days being so ridiculous and all the crime happening everywhere.

It's annoying that Steem is in the "middle" the middle is when it's between giving and not giving SBD's, preferably we would like it either higher to gain the SBD's or lower to make Steem more accessible to buy. It would be great if right now we could get Steem maintained at holding $0.27 that seems to be a good spot at the moment until we are ready to go higher.

As for the picture today I share some flower photography and yes I know that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the subject of flowers.

I believe this was captured on the way to work as the weather was getting better, this is probably a flower within another weed bush as looking closely to the bottom left side we can see the sharp leaves. I don't take often black and white shoots of flowers but I feel this one turned out great with lots of little detail.

In this capture you can also easily see the stamen the pollen producing part of a flower, looks like a bee's dream as it looks to hold it's contents so delicately.
These flowers are called Knock-Out Roses which I managed to discover thanks to jeff-kubitz roughly pointing me in the right direction.
So since we already now know the name of this flower I wont be asking anybody to submit their theory's on it's name for the upvote, but don't worry I'm sure there will be plenty more in future infact on my previous post on flowers I shared a white flower that I still don't know it's name and still giving out a upvote if anybody can tell me it's name.
