Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

When having my father turn up to visit me it caused a few issues to get out posts but in the end I don't think any days were missed. However last night it was nearly missed, not because of my father as he returned home. And I can say that at least with him returning home I have caught up on sleep, it's a big improvement but I still feel tired and could do with a little more rest. Like last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour as it was my friends birthday and of course I arrived home late. Falling asleep was not a problem because not only was I already tired from the previous late bedtime but I spent most of the day out with friends celebrating a birthday. The weather this morning like I expected is dark, cloudy and miserable looking, unlike yesterday there as been no rain. Thankfully it's not been cold but I have noticed the temperature is slowly dropping. I woke-up again 1 hour before my alarm, it looks like this is still happening but still it's a improvement over waking up 2 hours prior to my alarm. I rested until it was time to get started for the day, well I went past that again by quite a lot. I then remembered the horrifying truth that I will soon be doing some very early shifts again in a few days argh😠. I thought it was actually tomorrow the early shifts would begin but thankfully it's after this weekend coming. A late start again I didn't have work to be in for today which means this was a good opportunity to get a few chores done. I also wanted to try again for some more Steem as it's been a little while since I have been able to do this because of travelling and then being visited by my father unexpectedly. But I'm unfortunately dealing with the same crap from before I when I went travelling, which is the sellers not respecting your time or even you as a customer. I was also shocked the other day to discover that without warning my TRX wallet on Steemit had just disappeared, and this was a long with all the funds I had in there. I learnt later that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet as a whole. After panicking for a bit I assumed that perhaps the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. This already seems confirmed by others but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional, well I guess this is not the type of post for such a long discussion on the topic. Yesterday with friends when we finally went for food "as I was very hungry" we spent a lot of the time in there until I realised we was running out of time to make it to the birthday cake shop. We were all putting money in to buy my friend a good quality big cake. In the end a not so big cake was picked which was a little disappointing but I guess it saved us all money. We honestly just about made it to the cake shop the woman was closing it up and we was super lucky she agreed to let us in. For the rest of the time that I spent together with friends that night I made a big deal out of picking such a disappointing cake. But when I saw the cake properly for blowing out the candles I knew I was going to regret it as it looked very delicious. We all took some home and when I got back I tried some of the cake and knew without doubt I unfortunately will be apologizing to my friends because it was infact a fantastic choice of cake. Thankfully they let me down gently as I admitted to being wrong. Later in the day I finally got some responses from the sellers. Apparently for the moment they are not able to make certain trades properly due to some liquation issues. They are now waiting for a specific member of their team to return and bail them out of the situation. It's insane but at least I got a response and even got them to say they expect to be running more smoothly in about 1 week. I guess I should be ok to wait another week.. While waiting I went online to meet with friends as they said half of them would be online. This was not the case nobody turned-up there was good reason for them not to turn-up but I wished they had told me earlier. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the topic of flower imagery.

This was captured on a day after I had just finished work, I had already been home got changed and left again to meet with a friend at my closest green spot. There are some small hills in this area and this particular photo was captured near the top, there are some large bushes surrounding parts of the hills. It's near these bushes where I spotted these flowers by some grass.

Even with all the greenery in the area this beautiful flower caught my attention, this is especially true because of it's purple like colour reaching out between the white, almost like it's been delicately painted or like you can see the veins for each petal.

While that part of the image with what I call to call the cone is no longer visible here that is on purpose as I wanted to clearly showcase the details I just mentioned without other distractions.

What I like to call the cone is the same flower but still completely closed, I think likely because it's still growing, next time I might add some colour to it so it can be seen better as that will be the focus of the image. We can't notice it here but this is a hairy flower, not only is the stem looking hairy but so are it's leaves. Perhaps this is to protect it from certain insects and predators.

There was a moment when I thought these may have been the same purple flowers from a previous post where I mentioned I couldn't find any open ones, but I don't believe these are in any way related.
