Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Like I expected it was often difficult to get posts out while I was travelling visiting my father. Now on my return things got back to normal "well for a while" because what I didn't expect was for my father to turn-up here to visit me so soon after. So far it's still been possible to get out posts "but just about" and so if your wondering why there was no post on a particular day, or why a post was going out at unusual times, it's because for the moment my father is down visiting and he can require a lot of attention. Anyway since the previous night where my father thought it would be ok to wake me up at 3 in the morning requesting that I help him get on the computer I had been running on little sleep again. I'm not sure if I was just too angry or awake at that moment that I couldn't get back to sleep for the ret of the night. Regardless I was back to running on about 3 to 4 hours of sleep and hence why I fell asleep at my desk which is very unlike me. There was little doubt in my mind that last night I was likely to sleep very well. This was exactly the case until my father woke me in the morning, thankfully this was only 45 minutes away from my alarm. The weather this morning as returned to being mostly a dark and cloudy one, so far there as been no rain and I think there is a possibility it may clear-up a bit later. I woke-up 45 minutes before my alarm and just rested until it was time to get started for the day. I just about caught my father going out which means this was a good opportunity to get a few chores done before having to go into work. He told me he would likely only be arriving later like yesterday. He previously also said he would be stopping by my work later, maybe on the way home I would guess. I just hope he doesn't go in there and gets me fired somehow with his shenanigans lol. But he never went there yesterday and hopefully he won't bother for the remainder of the time he is here. Regardless like expected it seems he didn't learn his lesson from yesterday being out all day and so arriving home over tired and having a achy body. I have barely been able to get any of the training done for work, yesterday afternoon I made a small start on it which I'm sure won't be good enough for work and I kind of wouldn't blame them. I managed to get more done during the night and worked on it for most of this afternoon. By the time I was done it might just be enough to please work, I'm not sure on this and so will have to look at what other modular training is available. I done some more cleaning and then made it on time to meet with friends online. They all made it in the end as some were still sleeping and others had to leave earlier. Between that I started to get a little worried again because it was later than usual and my father had yet still not arrived home. My betting was he fell asleep somewhere and after talking to him when he arrived finally that seemed to of been the case. I was surprised he was not as tired like yesterday where he arrived home with a body full of pains from over doing it. For the rest of the night he suffered which is well deserved but the problem is he won't learn from it lol. Hope you have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the topic of flower imagery.

This was captured on a day after I had just finished work, I had already been home got changed and left again to meet with a friend at my closest green spot. There are some small hills in this area and this particular photo was captured near the top, there are some large bushes surrounding parts of the hills. It's near these bushes where I I spotted these flowers by some grass.

Even with all the greenery in the area this beautiful flower caught my attention this is especially true because of it's purple like colour reaching between the white, almost like it's been delicately painted.

While that part of the image is no longer clear here because I wanted to focus on what I like to call the cone.
It's the same flower but still completely closed, I think likely because it's still growing, next time I might add some colour to it so it can be seen better as that is the focus here of this image. We can also notice that this is a hairy flower, not only is the stem looking hairy but so are it's leaves. Perhaps this is to protect it from certain insects and predators.

There was a moment when I thought these may have been the purple flowers from a previous post where I mentioned I couldn't find any open ones, but I don't believe these are related in any way.
I placed that image below from the previous post, normally you would be able to at least find some at a different stage, either growing, closed or opening.
