Road in the Caucasus Mountains

in photography •  8 years ago

Roads in Ossetia are different, and straight, and mountain paths, and stony, and even, and adjacent directly to the rocks, but always very picturesque.

Mountain slopes are dried up by the sun's rays, and therefore only dry-loving plants grow here, like sage, sainfoin, wormwood, thyme and timothy. From flowers here you can find bells, cuffs and saxifrage.
