งานวัดที่เมือง Kai นี้มีชื่อว่า Daini Gakumon Matsuri (大弐学問祭) จัดขึ้นที่ศาลเจ้า Yamagata เป็นประจำทุกวันที่ 23 กันยายน ซึ่งจะตรงกับช่วงที่เวลาในตอนกลางวันและกลางคืนเท่ากันพอดี
