In this picture we see the early morning mist that occurs in the dell across the valley when the cool night air moisture begins to interact with the warm sunlight as it slowly heats up the atmosphere.
I love the tranquility presented by this beautiful land. The mountains in the background distance are the Great Bear Wilderness area of the Bob Marshall wilderness in the Rocky Mountains of Montana.
Wow. I got tingly feelings looking at that photo. Very much not bad!

Jaybird, this is the original photo lensed very early in the morning right as the sun is rising. The colors are due to a combination of the alpenglow effect of early morning light and the camera I am using. This is a Hassleblad H5D 60mpx camera and because of the depth of the pixel wells on the sensor and the type of bayer layer they use on the sensor... the way it assess the photonic information coming across each pixel gives a remarkably true rendition of the natural scene.

Thank you...actually this was shot hand held and quickly... this misty hung in the air like that for at least half an hour till the hear evaporated it. I always say these scenes are fleeting and only last moments!
