I took these photos with my smartphone. The first photo are flowers called frangpani or tipani (In my language). The second photo is hibiscus.
These flowers feature strongly in Polynesian cultures. I try to teach my children and grand children as much about my culture, so as not to lose it. One of the things that I have been trying to teach is the making of Leis'(flower wreath). Leis' are important as it is gifted as a sign of affection, respect, love and friendship.
