It was 7 degrees Fahrenheit here last night, so all the smart people stayed inside today. I was out in it, of course, LOL! Around sundown I noticed that the sky was on fire with the last gasp of color, as the Sun went to sleep for the night. With the temperature last night, this small lake was covered with a sheet of ice.
The combination was stunning, and no, the tree is not on fire, LOL!
This looks like it is in the country but right north of this photograph a hundred yards is one of the city water towers; so this is in the middle of the suburbs.
Great little lake anyway, and a nice place to stop and unwind a little!

Necks of course, when you're unwinding them they usually have to snap LOL!
I took some classes on filmmaking but they didn't teach me how to take pictures. I think my puppy dogs did that they were such cute subjects!

She's very willing to be filmed as long as there's food involved LOL!
She spends most of her Spare Time on my lap though to make sure that I'm warm, she's pretty rotten!
I'll have to take her out to this little Lake after it warms up, and see what she thinks of it. I bet she chases some rabbits in there!
I have thought about checking it for perch myself so who knows I might spend some more time there.

But yeah that be fun she did enjoy that quite a little bit when I bet you come back covered with mud. Who knows she might come back covered with mud and I might come back loaded with fish!
I could stand that that'd be a good day. Been too long since I've been fishing the last time I really ought to prioritize getting out and drowning the worm or two!
