In Georgia we have abundant Deer, its common to see them run across the road a few times a year. And during the rut its even more common.
We got a photo of a Doe, from the looks of it just about fully grown. It has a real nice coat to it, and is enjoying some corn on the ground.
I love how big their eyes are, those big deer eyes.. Or Doe eyes in this case, hince the name. Since they are prey animals they depend heavily on their sight and and hearing threats approaching.
She is a whitetail deer so markings on the tail are showing the type of deer she is. When they run they fling their tail up making their rear looking all white. Sometimes thats all you see is a white ass bouncing off in the distance, almost taunting you for failing to land a hit.
Around sunrise two showed up, there must have been some noises going on around them as the deer on the left has its ears perked back. Maybe some more animals in the bush, or a car, an airplane maybe.
Taking turns eating from the corn pile, seems they dont mind watching out for each other while each is eating. I like the coloring of their ears as well, they are striped on the tips from the looks of it.
The deer on the right looks like its about to bolt. The ears are pointed back and its stance looks like its ready to pounce. Hard to say what they picked up on as we only have photos from these days and nights.

@originalathena yup that's a deer blind. I've sit in them for hours waiting for deer to show up. No luck yet though, its delicious. My friend got me some and it was great slow cooked and roasted.
