Monochrome Blacklight Single - Tea Olive

Taking macro photos of plants has been a challenge, but recently I have started merging layers of multiple photos taken at different focus points to achieve an image that has more in focus than it would naturally.

The single is my entry for #MonoMad - Abstract, started by @brumest and curated by @monochromes

Its flowers may be infused with green or black tea leaves to create a scented tea. The flowers are also used to produce osmanthus scented jam, dumplings, soups, and liquor.

The composition in this photo, with the dichotomy between the lights and darks of the image, gives the picture an otherworldly or dreamlike feeling.
