Echidna in Tasmania

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hello,
I love this little fellow.
My brother and I was headed to Lake Pedder in SW Tasmania in 2011 for a camping trip and came across this cute little fellow crossing the road. You rarely find Echidna's get run over by cars for obvious reasons.

Echidna's are a marsupial that lays an egg that hatches a baby puggle. The puggle then stays in the females pouch until big enough to be left alone in a den or burrow.

Have a great day!
Baz!
