Lol.. this is soo true @soyrosa . My friends have gotten used to this now though. They see it as a part of life.Great shots between, spot on composition maam...cheers

Thanks a lot @thejotographer! :-) Yes, I guess if you're friends with a photographer you will get used to the camera in the end! ;-)

Really beautiful photos and places! And I recognize the part about using your boyfriend in pictures haha, I do exactly the same!

wow pero que buen post rankeado vas felicitaciones hermano sigue asi

Oh great. Good post

Photography is as much fun as it is difficult art. When you are caught by talented people with the right techniques, it's an incredible work.

woow amazing post!

You completely nailed it here ... the only problem I have is a partner who doesn't want to be photographed. :D So I train my dogs to be photo-props.

LOL! Mine doesn't like being photographed either, but mostly when the camera is close. He doesn't mind if he's just a silhouette. Training your dogs sounds great to however ;-)

It's not easy, but more easy then convincing my partner ... and well it keeps me busy ;-)

Aha, so these photos are set ups are they? I like that they are. Putting a person into a photo makes the photo more three dimensional for me. Suddenly theres a story. I love landscape, I love looking at nature, but when the persons there I can relate so much more. I adore your first image by the way.

Thanks a lot @shivvi! :-) Yes, I do think there's a sudden 'story' to the image too!

Fnar/Fnar!

Amusing anecdotes and great shots.

I have been posting some of my photographs of late and would welcome your thoughts if you have a spare mo.

:)

Have a creative week.

xox

Thank you! :-)

Haha i've been on both ends and even the process is tricky seeing the amazing results worth it

I like this advice, I parted from my travel buddy not long ago :(, but she made a good photo prop and more for a wile . . .14556634_584251568433825_2748480315305645183_o.jpg

Scale is my friend for sure. My wife often gets used as a prop....sometimes she's ok with it ;)

Haha, I assume the sometimes is the defining word here ;-) I wish her strength!

My boyfriend is just starting to play with photography and his new camera. He’s a newbie but i think really does have a good eye. I dread photos. Guess I’m going to have to suck it up and model ;)

Yes @appiepearl, you will totally and without having anything to say about it enter a new profession: that of being a full-time model! If you need any support I'll give you the contact info of my boyfriend ;-)

hahaha. We might have a distance issue, but if he's paying for my flights we might just have a deal ;)

lol, I loved reading your perspective on handy props for photo shoots. Wonderful :)

Hi @ravenruis, glad you liked it! :D I could talk about the technical aspects of photography, but I like personal stories, so decided to focus on this more :-)

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Hmm! LOL

Hmmmm from this I realize that I'm more of a photographer than @creutzy (which is basically true anyway :P ) because I was always the one using him as prop!

Haha! Yes, the amount of 'using' other people to create pictures might indeed be the defining factor in how much of a photographer you are @meanmommy33! ;-)

haha so true !

I think you've made really good use of your "prop" there! I might borrow that trick in the future if you wouldn't mind! :)
