Sunsets over Epsom Downs Racecourse, Surrey, England

in photography •  8 years ago

I grew up 10 minutes from here, and would often check out the sunsets from a small hill that gives sweeping views.

This is the Grandstand, from where the Queen herself watches the races.  The building was also used in the Bond film Goldeneye, masquerading as St Petersburg airport.

Winter snowfall.  If you look carefully, you can see a car on the left.  This is the bend where the suffragette Emily Davison perished in 1913.  She threw herself in front of the King's horse in order to raise awareness for women's rights.

A good bench for reflection.

Beautiful Photos. Would you mind including metadata in your pictures? I'm curios what settings those were made on. I'm a hobby photographer myself, but can't get this kind of shots look good. Did you postedit them? And did you use a tripod and long exposure?
Anyways, great work man :)
