"The only thing you have to offer another human being, ever, is your own state of being. You can cop out only just so long, saying, “I’ve got all this nice stuff, I know all this and I can do all this.” But everything you do, whether you’re cooking food or doing therapy or being a student or being a lover, you are only doing your own being, you’re only manifesting how evolved a consciousness you are. That’s what you’re doing with another human being. That’s the only dance there is!"

Wow what a style <3 hehe behind the camera ? sean king ? check this one out colorful one for you :)

@steemed-open are you angry with me ? :/

Again, very strong photo, with its bold composition and the unusual camera angle. Of course, my mind instantly comes up with wild connections and references... even with my "High Priestess"... the lines following a similar pattern, and even the building is reminiscent of the structure behind her.

Together with a skilled photographer you created a true piece of art. The way the lines and "energies" of your body interact with the surrounding elements keeps my eyes pinned to the picture and I can almost see.. how can I say... a wave of energy... but more like a sound wave... being thrown up beyond the building.

Oh, I can see that now since you mention the High Priestess. Interesting! Fantastic the way you describe the wave of energy uprising...I now hear it roaring up when I look at the photo.

Robert is a gifted photographer with such a great eye. But overall I prefer to work with my Man as a photographer. There is a difference in being captured by someone who is just madly skilled vs someone who is skilled and adores you. I think shows up in the images.

I swear I don't know why, but as soon as I saw the photo, the first person or quote that came to mind was Kasey Kasem when he used to end his shows with the "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars" quote. Is that weird or what? lol As for the quote, very true, but I would bet there are a ton more people out there that are doing what is expected of them to do and not really doing what they truly desire to do. Just like my last job, did it for 25 years and was paid damn good, but hated it. Alot of truth to "If you love what you do, you'll never feel like you worked a day".

I like that quote! Grounded, stable and well centered, but ever reaching upwards and beyond FROM that strong sense of groundedness. 👣✨

definitely like a swan, ! ... a manifestation of spiritual expression over physical...

this is why I cannot pull it off :] I think you must have to be 'inwardly' ready!

this is such a powerful pose , it looks like you have control over all the elements...the sky ... the flora :]
You use your body in such a way makes me believe our bodies were meant for so much more <3

Inward readiness brings authenticity to an image. This is true, Otherwise we are just posing and acting. But then some advocate, "fake it 'til ya make it." I think each approach can be useful for different scenarios and/or different people. There is a body/brain connection. posing in a victorious way releases some of the endorphins we would actually get from a victory! So sometimes acting can support you getting where you want to genuinely be in life. But it won't get you all the way there...I like the inside out approach for me. Thanks for your sweet supportive comments and enthusiasm. 🙏🏽💗

Interesting concept :]

I like the image of becoming an actor of the movements, it's almost like 'half' experiencing the obtainable!... maybe it's a way of crossing that barrier, unleashing the inner you!...
U always get me thinking in the most abstract way...you always bring that out in me. I sound enthusiastic all the time because of the influence!
Hope your day is bright and beautiful ! 💜

Great page - love the health and well-being views to life!

Those words are very interesting and fit very well with that picture. Keep going.

That's a really koool photo! The photographer has the eye for sure! Great perspective. Love the shoes! You are fight in what you said and most are stunted through distractions in their evolution. More please :)

Our consciousness is a beautiful thing :)

Truth. ✌🏾

Wonderful posture, like a swan!

Thank you 🙏🏽

I took this class in college about Daoism, and for anyone interested in this idea of being vs. nonbeing, there are a lot of thought provoking ideas on the topic. One example of literature is the Dao De Jing. I'll say again that these are really thinkers, so it may take a few reads.

This is a great snap and I love the quote :)

I'm not sure if this is applies to your quote or not, but I have been interviewing numerous recovering opioid addicts and recovering substance abusers recently. While talking to them and interviewing them, in context of the stigma of admitting they have a problem, they've pretty much all said that they were surprised by what positive reactions they got from their friends and family when they did finally muster up the courage to tell them. They're all amazed by the support they got from people and the number of them that unequivocally said ' we're here for you ' and many of them said they would never have been able to get help and get on the recovery train without all the support they got.

Here is one of the interviews I conducted in case you are interested and I will slowly be posting more and more of the interviews as the edits finish.Cheers

that's a piece of art...

Thank you
