Today is Goru Tihar (Ox worship day) as the 4th or the second last day of Tihar festival,Gor the second biggest festival for Nepalese Hindu People. During this day people usually take a holy bath in the morning and worship Ox with Tika and Mala, then feed them with delicious foods.

And today there is another biggest festival in Nepalese Newar Community. Its Nepal Sambat- new year for newari neople.

This day is very special in Newar people. Nepalese Newar People do special kind of ritual self-worship called Mha Pooja, means worshiping yourself. They perform this Mha pooja in the new year to purify all the bad things and sins, curse or all the bad luck things in the past year and purify soul for the fresh new year.

Mha Pujā (Devanagari: म्हपुजा) is an annual ritual performed by the Newar people of Nepal to purify and empower the soul as part of New Year celebrations. It is performed on New Year's Day of Nepal Sambat, the national lunar calendar of Nepal, which occurs during the Swanti festival.
