La Brea Tar Pitts of Los Angeles, California

I was walking by the tar pitts in Los Angeles, so I decided to drop by since I've never seen this place in person other than in movies ( was it Last action hero with Arnold?).

Anyway, the place smelled like rotten eggs from the sulfuric gases bubbling up in the pitts. The place was really nice if you don't mind the smell.

I didn't go inside the museum because I was too cheap to pay $12.
