After a long and delay ridden train ride to Coney Island I arrived at the Stillwell ave stop to be greeted by a downpour and hundreds of parade goers and participants taking shelter at the train station. I've been wanting to go to the mermaid parade for a few years now and finally was able to go this year...thankfully the rain stopped and the parade was on! I had a great time and really enjoyed taking these photos.
