A little village in the Banat Plain. Most of the locals process the land and live it. A lot of young people have gone, and the population is getting smaller. It used to be a municipality. During the Austro-Hungarian period, a building was built for the administrative needs of the then government. Such a building is unique. There is no village in the surrounding area.
The church is quite old, built sometime before the First World War. It is believed that the village is 600 years old.
