The comma-shaped beads are called "Magatama" in Japan.

It is an accessory created by an ancient Japanese. It is said that it has a mysterious power.

Many of them are fashioned from jade, agate, quartz, and talc.

Many of them are excavated from the remains of the Jomon period(5,000
B.C.).

The other day, my daughter participated in an experience meeting to make a Magatama.

It was an event for elementary school students. At that event, a soft stone(talc) was used to make it easier for children to process.

It can be easily created by them, but my daughter is still 6 years old, so I did the finishing.

I put a string on Magatama and made it a necklace.
