Don't plant a tree where you don't plan to camp.

I listened to the story of an ex-monk, and these words made such an impression on me. To plant only those trees whose shade you are planning to camp under.

If I think how much time and resources I have wasted in my life, planting trees I realize I didn't want to be camping under... these are wise words.

Just the other day I realized that a decision I took, is a tree under whose shade I don't want to camp, and I just moved past that decision. It has become so easy to make decisions.

Once you have planted a tree, it will grow huge, and you will have to deal with removing that if you don't want it. We need a degree of isolation from others or things, to have enough energy for reflection and self purification of those things that alleviate mental stress and anxiety.

As a result of social media mirroring so much of the negative around us, we we are over exposed to pain, and consume more of the negative than previously people would in a life time.

As the monk said: The greatest detachment is being close to everything, but not letting it own or consume you. Detachment is not that you own nothing, detachment is that nothing owns you.

By a positive mental state you will be able to overcome all these, because your head, hands and heart will be working in alignment. If one of these are out of alignment, you start to lose something.

A head is the clarity of vision knowing what you want and knowing the way you picture life. The way you navigate decisions to get where you want to go and where you want to be connected is a head.

A good heart is being able to understand what your intuition, beyond your vision you painted for yourself is showing you. You get what you want in life, not only by imagining it, but by listening to your intuition as well. Because the path that is paved up and down is far different from the path you can have in life.

Usually your initial response is your safe place of understanding. As someone once said to me: always stay with the first decision, that was usually the right decision.

You can have the greatest vision, but if your heart is not able to adapt to that...

You need resilience and to be able to adapt, have compassion and care. Then you don't have to make the toughest decisions without your heart. It is not long lasting and sustainable if you don't lead a lifestyle of care.

A hand is the service, passing on what you have been given. To give it forward servicing others with what you have.

Your passion is for you to make you happy, but when you use your passion to make a difference in someone else's life, that is a service and a purpose. That is the hand. So your purpose is for others. Use your passion to make a difference in someone else s life.

Knowing how to differentiate between the voices in your head is the first level of self awareness. The noise in your life, or other or society's expectations can create noises in your head.

When you have a lack of understanding of what your vision is, you have a lack of understanding of what you can offer the world. Then you are insecure and not confident of your abilities. A noise from the outside make you want to fit into a container that stops you from knowing what your voice and intelligence is saying. Then you have to switch your association by switching your circle.

Fast forward yourself where you want to be in 25years in your mind. If that is not where you want to be, you have to find a new road.

Cheers friends!!!

Enjoyed the use of sayings to express the motivational part of the story @talking-crypto

Life is like planting a tree, finding direction, growing ever upwards, we humans need direction to obtain self confidence from learning. Many fall short in self-doubt.
