There’s something about working with a person who is going through a new transition in life that is really cool to me. Brides and grooms and new parents are going through obvious and exciting transitions but I think somewhere in them mix we forget that seniors in high school are going through something just as life changing. Most are going to live outside of their parents house for the first time and have to take on the responsibility of college head on. It’s scary and exciting all mixed in one. I remember being so nervous as my mom drove away and thinking, “So, I guess I’m a college student now. Whoa!”
I love when I’m given the opportunity to photograph seniors. Maggie was no exception. Her beauty and personality really shows in front of the lens. I’m really happy that I could be the one to document this time in her life.
