From losing the car keys, letting go of a friend or loved one, feeling betrayed, to having a stressful job, relationship, or health issue. Situations arise and we can really only change how we react to them. Instead of following the situation or diving right into the madness, how about practicing pausing for a few seconds or even a minute. Let the obstacle be there for what it is, then consciously choose how to proceed. I’m telling you, things will start to shift when you open your awareness around the situation, rather than diving right into the middle, blind to what really is important. Is that the best way to live?
