Have you seen the Matrix? I will go on the assumption the answer is Yes since it is about 20 years old. 20!
At the end of the first, Neo sees the world as code, streams of 0s and 1s that scroll across every surface, cover every wall and he has the ability to make sense of it all, to understand the underlying principles of the world. He has awakened to the reality by seeing through the illusion. He has become, enlightened. You can do the same, kind of.
Some people have asked me over the weeks and months and more often recently as to how I am able to produce so much content so fast and unfortunately, there is no short cut to the work involved. It is a process of experience built combined with a lot of hard work. I do not type quickly and my backspace key is worn thin from typing errors but, it is a consistency of mind combined with a consistency of effort approach. Subject matter however is another process entirely and one that doesn't take me much work.
When it comes to ideas for articles, I am a little like Neo in this regard as I see streams, rivers and pools of content flowing across every surface. I hear a few words and it ignites a light that shines into an unexplored corner, I see a behaviour, a picture, a video and more and more ideas flow outward. Each one I discover, each I throw my limited mind at, compounds against the next to come, opens me up to see a little wider, broaden a stream, find hidden rivers and deepen the pool. And I love it.
It is not about being right or attempting to showcase the limited intelligence I have, it is about having a conversation with the world, negotiating and becoming familiar with what I previously had overlooked. It is a slow picking apart of the strands of fabric that weave into the illusion of belief, and seeing what lays beneath. The journey is endless and one can run and run until out of breath and still be deep within the unknown.
For me, it is not finding content that is the challenge, it is finding the time to get my mind dirty in what is discovered, get some thoughts out before the next river flows into consciousness and hijacks my energy and demands my thought. So far, this process has opened me up to worlds that I had never even dreamed existed but there they are, in plain sight. The most mundane of things hides wonder within its details, deep truths so obvious that once seen, life changes direction forever.
Much of this world is about control, oppression and restriction and unfortunately, we use it to contain our thoughts, limit ourselves by adhering our minds to arbitrary rules. We destroy our own creativity with narrow focus, we bury our potential in the consumption of homogeneity, we kill what makes us human. Throw off the yoke we have placed upon our own necks, break the chains, remove the lid, unfreeze the rivers.
Follow the white rabbit.

[ a Steemit original ]
I was just noticing this - with great sadness - yesterday. I read dozens of post, all with similar ideas, none stepping off the beaten path. And I get so excited when I find a post that's "different", you know, new and exciting.
But that's not right, because all posts should be like that. We're individuals with ideas wandering around our minds, but we refuse to see them, most of the time. To acknowledge that we're unique.
Why do people choose the blend, rather than break :/
PS: I keep meaning to tell you - wonderful photos! You're really talented ;)

Most eat from the same sources and have the same thought processes. It is mathematical.
Security in acceptance. It is a risk to break out because for the most part, it is unlikely to be received well.

But breaking out speaks of you having a mind of your own, your own sense of reality. We cannot live on what people say living should be, we need to find our own expression of life.

That is a path that only those with courage can tread - and unfortunately not many posses the courage to do so. Using Steemit for instance, breaking out could come at a cost in the beginning. If you are not telling people what they wants to hear, you will be on your own. So it requires pretty much guts to break out.

This is very true. People seem to love the mundane, the ordinary, the crowd mentality. They don't want the status quo to be disturbed.
But if we can but find the courage to be ourselves, though difficult at first, we will find the truth and we will be free indeed.
It is difficult to be different anywhere, whether or steemit or not but if one has a caring support base of people who love and understanding one, then it becomes easier.

I agree with all of you - we are creative and unique, but most people are so afraid of that...that they choose to stay on the beaten path and talk and exist in cliches. Such a shame.

i don't think many know they are doing it. they don't know that the thoughts aren't their own.
that is what being brainwashed is all about, that is what advertising/propaganda is all about. getting you to think you came to a conclusion of your own accord, when really you where led down a path..
but how you came to the conclusion isn't remembered, the fact you came to the conclusion is.

@klevn, yes quite possibly you are right, it's easy t trick people into thinking their thoughts are their own. But what about creating new things? I mean, it seems logical that you would see if an idea is not your own, because it's been done before...Why not break out and try to see where your creativity takes you?

creativity comes from silence (connection to source), i'm pretty sure most of these folks you refer to are never silent in mind, never get any original ideas because of it. they just run programmed loops of thoughts, they literally are not used to coming up with a new, original ideas.
in fact, many I know hate silence so much they will turn a tv/radio on instantly upon entering any room. they literally say they don't like silence.

Yes! You're so right - I can't understand such people. Personally, I hate noise. Not any noise, I'm almost always listening to music, because it helps feed my creativity. But I don't understand those who want "background noise" - why do you need that?
You're right - it's a lack of connection to themselves that prompts them to be such....poor creators.

That's your real gift right there. I think it's because you opened yourself up to be excited, interested or even fascinated by a huge variety of things in your surroundings. On top of that you're able to write about it in a very clever, comprehensible way. Both things combined are just very powerful and pave the road to success.

It's rare though that it comes so easily for you. The best writers in the world experience writer's block, but of course they're limited to a specific topic or storyline when they're writing their piece. For me, I only can write about things that really make me think on a deeper level. it can be a psychological theory, a painting, a philiosophical statement... It can be a variety of things. But I can't write a decent blog about it when I wasn't fully "overwhelmed" by it or something like that. Do you experience that the same? or do you start writing your blogs because of a single, lucrative thought and you go from there?

The moment you realized you need to communicate and not preach - everything got sorted.
Writing is an intimidating task. And if you have the tension of being right, pressure to tell something worthwhile and instruct. Then it would be difficult to write.
But when you embrace the fact that being wrong is okay, sometimes you need to communicate. And share anything you have within the white space. That moment you get transformed into a writing genius. Good going buddy.
Let more musings come.

It all makes more sense now. So most times we find it hard to write because we aimed to preach and instruct but not really to communicate. That strikes a point in me.

At exactly 14hours ago, @inertia gave a tip on writing and he said;
Most times, we do not ingest enough information and we want to give out information . The mind works well when you feed it. It's garbage in garbage out. You can't give what you don't have so I think for you, you tend to give out of the abundance of you imagination through your contents and it is one everyone should take a cue from.

I totally agree with you on this. Once wondered too how you come up with so many posts in a day, well now I know. I should try this
I'm sure I would be amazed at what my mind can apprehend and put them into writing. Thanks for sharing sir.

I had an exercise where I would just have a single idea at the top of a page, and then I'd write about it. I filled a journal this way. I always thought it would help change the world when I wrote it, now it seems like more of the same that is already here. Kinda mind boggling to consider that everything has been said, but how I say it is a bit different and valuable if done properly.
I think part of what makes your style appealing is something I am reminded of in the story of Buddha. he didn't allow anything he said to be written down, and after his death many followers tried to write down what he had said. many schools sprang up (30+), but the one that survived is the guy that said 'i heard Buddha say' whereas the others proclaimed it as 'Buddha said'.
taking the approach that you don't have all the answers, that you recognize your limitation and work within it.. that is the strength I see, it is a humbleness to our own fallibility, a recognition that we don't have all the information to make a perfect understanding of anything.
it is a humbleness that I'm working on, I appreciate seeing how you handle yourself.
thanks for your posts. I enjoy reading them, they always make me think.

I don't know whether you watch the game 'Cricket'. It is very popular in few countries including mine. The great batsman Don Bradman was reffered to as the 'Run Machine' as he consistently added runs to the board. The same way you can be reffered to as a 'Writing machine'!
I went back to your very first posts..There,your payouts were almost zero..But still you continued to write..Its amazing!
You wrote about bid bots, good Commenting and many other things within the time frame of 24 hours..Believe me,to make my most recent post which I think is mediocre in quality,I took more than 2.5 hours to write and rewrite!(I'm doing this all in a mobile phone).
It is your posts that has to be in trending section. But unfortunately a $1875 post continues to top the list for last two days.

It's so true you write some good content in short periods of time, most of your posts are so explanatory and long enough for us to always drive the point home. i think you have been perfecting this over time. it's so amazing.
This so inspiring, i have once or twice been guilty of this. Thinking outside the box is breaking free.
Thanks for this one.

Wow Matrix is about 20 years old? Damn! Need to see the movie again.
I sometimes marvel at your ability to churn out articles so fast. Sometimes I get notifications of your articles coming up simultaneously. That is not something anyone can copy. It has to be habitual. I can't churn out that much. My really good articles come to me while I am asleep at night. I can churn out poetry at will though, because I am practiced at it.
People come on steemit with the belief that they have the knowledge to make it here. The stick to systems that have garnered them huge following, likes, shares and comments on facebook, instagram and twitter, forgetting that despite the similarities, steemit is not like them.
Innovation, ingenuity, remaking, reimagining, renovating are the things that stand out in steemit. You have to be ready to take risks with your art, with your words, with your thoughts. You have to be willing to leave your comfort zone, let go of all those things the world had said was how it should be. You have to be willing to let go of beliefs and perceptions and try something new. These are the stuff with which an awesome life is lived, this is what steemit desires.
