Market Friday 50 Shades of grey and a splash of color

A post for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Steemit, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.

For this weeks post, I was wondering what I could come up with as if you have followed me a while I tend to go off on a tangent often and its no different for my Market Friday posts and this week I came up with 50 Shades of Grey and a splash of color, but don't worry these shots are safe for work.

Starting off with the heavenly Deli and market, with the greens being so predominant in this shot and the other colors a little distracting I thought why not go with a selective color edit to just keep the greens

Once I did that edit, I thought to myself, why not go all selective coloring for this post, so here we have McSwiggans Pub, one of the many in NYC

Now on a roll I looked for shots with other colors that may work with selective coloring and came across this shot of Benjamin's restaurants with all its reds

Now my favorite color is blue so I couldn't finish this post without finding a shot with blues, and Lennys who promote themselves as serving New Yorks ultimate Sandwich came to the rescue.
Now I have tried a sandwich from there and it was pretty good but I am not sure I could class it as an ultimate sandwich, so many places make great sandwiches.

Now I had a dilemma I like including 5 shots for most posts and always for Market Friday and finding another one that worked with a single color and a different color from the other shots proved a challenge, but this place in Riverside Park worked with two colors Yellow and green

Very nice selective coloring! I like the way these pictures came out. I think I might try that out sometime too if I get motivated.

LOl I am not a foodie, and seldom get sandwiches, I normally go tot he deli and grab from the buffet and once I like one i stick with it till it gets not so good, so have been having lunch at the same deli for a couple of years now

so to answer your question its Hmm I don't know LOL

You really made this whole post-pop with your selective coloring! Well done! I have never seen the signage done quite this well and I really loved that blue one, if I had to pick favorites!

You always come up with a fresh, never before done idea for #MarketFriday and always look forward to seeing what you are offering this week. Thank you for being a part of it and thank you for always putting it on the map! I appreciated the time and effort put in.

I must say I love the red one too and the different colors were brilliant. Thanks again for being a part of the challenge! I love seeing NYC this way!

Cool edits, the photos look so good. There are many sandwich places in NYC that claim they have the best stuff. I remember Carnegie Hall deli and their awesome sandwiches. Yum. 😋
