When you live in Corvallis Oregon, there is art everywhere.
This piece is in downtown, it appears to show a native person harvesting blackberries, however, blackberries are, like European Americans, an invader species.
So, thought I would post this, just to let you folks know, art in town is pretty misguided and misleading.

The art itself seems to be visually appealing and has an aesthetic quality in it.
Given that, yes, I totally get it. It is the artist's onus to get it right. Artists bill themselves as the visionaries of society. This one missed that mark completely. Probably unintentionally, but still, it affronts nonetheless,
Maybe you should write an op ed piece in your local paper.
