My camera has X-Ray vision

in photography •  7 years ago

My Camera has X-Ray vision, okay not really and I don't mean for the title to be click bait. Tonight we got caught by a train and I decided to take my camera out to take a few pictures, I forgot I had my shutter settings open for a few seconds and ended up capturing what looks like spots in two photos that look like you are seeing right through the train. Pretty cool that I had to share. I just discovered it and couldn't wait. Hope you enjoy them.

Ah, really cool! Especially the second one!

I was attempting to take shots of fireworks before we got caught by the train and had the shutter for open at 2 seconds, had no clue this would happen though, totally kick ass if you ask me.

That is a great illusion. Nice post.

How cool...the best art is 'accidental'

I am so thrilled over how cool it looks, I am gonna have to crop the mirror out of this and do a project with it.

Heck yeah looking forward to seeing the final project

what type of camera do you use? I remember you told me before....but I just had to ask lol

Nikon D3400 I had the 55 mm lens on it, I would have to look at the mega data to tell you more

thank! Let me check out the price on ebay...:)

Prices are better on Amazon currently as they include a bundle for about $100 cheaper than anything eBay had listed at list as of two weeks ago. I got mine even cheaper at a local camera shop that had it on sale with a $400 instant rebate. Amazon was priced about $100 more than our local camera shop that week, my husband wanted one too and when we went back it was the same price as the ones on Amazon without the extra accessories.

thanks, I'll check it out.

That's a cracking photo. Sometimes well quite often in my case the best photo are an accident :)

I am working on it being intentional

To an extent but like this that moment that forgetting to change the shutter creates this amazing shot. In a way it is intentional on some level, don't detract from any credit for this photo you took it in that moment and style with intention.
