We have had a lot of rain over the last week or so in Indiana. So much so that a week ago the Fall's Creek foot bridge looked like this. This area of Fall's Creek is normally so low kids are playing in it.
This week though there are no kids playing in it as it looks like this.
I had to stand on the museums porch to get the second picture, so it isn't the best angle. It will take a week or so of no rain for the creek to go back to normal levels, and this is completely normal when you live in the wetlands.
We've got the same sort of thing going on over here in Southeastern Indiana. Lot's of rain and then Tropical Storm Cindy came through yesterday and dropped several inches of rain in a few hours. Creeks are over the banks and flooded roads everywhere.
