Light Painting #2: Light And Steel Wool

For my second attempt at light painting, We wanted to add a little more to the shot. First we tried to incorporate light trails from traffic, which was an utter fail lol. The light trail idea will be tried again in the future. Just at a better location.

So we decided to give it a go with steel wool. We set up and the above picture was the result. I was very pleased but also kinda bummed out. The steel wool rig broke while spinning in that shot and prevented anymore attempts for the night.

So a night of fails produced on decent shot and the promise and ideas for lots more, stay tuned for our future fun with light painting!

Like what you see and feeling generous?

Very well done! I've been wanting to do steel wool long exposure shots for years but haven't gotten around to it.
