Near the area of City Hall in Seoul, South Korea, you can see many modern buildings. Peeking out from behind today's architecture, there is something much older. It makes for a striking contrast.
The buildings of Deoksu Palace are hundreds of years old. Some are original, while others were constructed later. The complex is one of the major Joseun palaces and it dates back to the late 1500s. Later, I will post a set of photographs showing the re-enactment of a traditional civil ceremony in front of the palace.
Amazing photos! Following.
