I'm been giving some serious thought to the idea of buying a fairly decent quality camera to pick up as a hobby for the summer. I've never really found cell phone cameras all that inspiring, although I've been told that the camera on my Samsung S7 isn't all that bad. I'm thinking that landscape and street photography can be a fun way to get me outside exploring the world and making the most of my summer off between school terms. Perhaps, if I really enjoy it I can get good enough to make back some of my hardware investment by selling stock photos to various online sites.
So with the plan to upgrade soon to a real camera, I decided to begin practicing taking some basic photos, just to get a feel for it. I have no practice in thinking about photo composition. I figure even if I am limited to a smartphone for now, that should be more than adequate to give me the experience I need to improve my understanding of photograph composition.
This is the beginning of me trying to learn to take decent photographs. Perhaps I can learn something from these photos. Or maybe if I do improve it will be fun to look back and take note of my progress.
Lol good ol mugz
