There's so much history here. It makes me sad to see old places or homesteads that no one cares for anymore.

Me too. That's why I want to document them while they're still around. On a brighter note the Whitaker music shop was purchased by @tommyinthesun. He is renovating the building and turning it into a community center and has been using SBD to help fund the project. He's raising money for a new roof right now https://steemit.com/life/@tommyinthesun/fundraiser-to-get-a-roof-for-a-building-i-bought. Consider resteeming his post :)
