This picture was taken near the town of Svelvik in Norway, close to the cities of Drammen and Oslo. The sun was beginning to set behind the clouds early in the afternoon due to the short winter days. The cloud layers created a beautiful heavy and hazy effect, bringing a solumn yet stunning mood to the scene.
There's something very special about Norway. I don't think I fully appreciated it when I was there. Now I regularly finding myself craving being there again.
