This guy's name is Samnieng and he fishes between the river islands in the mighty Mekong at Si Phan Don. The only way to get to the prime fishing spots is across a network of wire bridges which he has set up. Falling off is not an option.
To take this photo I used a 400mm lens standing in water up to my shoulders on the opposite side of the river. I was attached to two trees with ropes to stop me getting taken away down stream.

That photo is absolutely striking! You must love photography very much given the fact that this was quite dangerous, I guess. And when I think about the guy up there on the rope...oh my goodness. Get seasick from looking.
