I photographed this beautiful anemone whilst diving on the reefs off Nusa Lembongan near Bali in Indonesia. I had spent the morning diving and snorkeling with Manta rays so it was already a pretty epic day. On this dive we concentrated on looking for macro subjects and this was just the kind of thing I was looking for! :)
Amazingly this seemed to be one of the few places I dived where there was not much plastic in the water. My experiences here have filled me with a loathing for plastic but still I find it hard to escape from buying and using it! : (

It's really a shame, all the plastic that ends up in the ocean. In Indonesia especially, the locals are not aware of what they're doing by using that much plastic and throwing it all in the sea.

Also did 2 dives at Nusa Lembongan (in front of Nusa Penida actually). List with mutual visited places keeps growing ;-)

Nice picture.We were at nusa lembongan last november. We saw also the mantas and the molamola. I liked it overthere.
Unfortunately there was a lot of plastic waste in the ocean and on the beach.
