Since the year 2005, every summer a circus tent is set up in the docklands of Cork City. Over the course of a month, many renowned artists travel to Cork to play in the Marquee. Famous names that have played this venue include Bob Dylan, Elton John and Jay-Z. Last night, I was once again, pleasantly surprised by the vibrant atmosphere. Hawaiian based singer song writer, Jack Johnson, graced his Cork audience with his distinctive feel good music. An enjoyable evening with catchy tunes, some subtle environmentalist undertones and a cheerful audience.
