Flower Plaque - Hong Kong

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

The flower plaque (Chinese: 花牌)is a traditional craft in China. It is a gigantic bamboo banner. They are built to celebrate traditional Chinese festivals, weddings and inaugurations. The plaques symbolise luck, happiness and prosperity. The materials used are mainly bamboos, wires, paper, fabric and plastics with red and bright colour.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region establishment. So this flower plaque is built to celebrate the Establishment Day 1st July.

I took this photo in Sai Kung, Hong Kong while I was having the happy family day.

I wanna introduce to all the peolle around the world.
