Hike of the day in Norway (to the most blue lake I have ever seen)

in photography •  7 years ago

Norway never stops to amaze me and today was no different. Together with our Indian guests we hiked to a lake at the bottom of a glacier in The Lyngen Alps. The whole thing took us about 6 hours, but that is lunching at a river included and putting Fenna in and out of our carry backpack many times. She is only 2 and a half years old, but she loves the challenge of hiking. It is such a joy to see her explore nature!

The infamous lake

Daddy, I think the blue is really pretty!

Great stuff, man! looking forward to see more of your trip :)

Thanks, I really is an adventure

I love the first picture ! I was in norway last year and I fell in love with this country ! I´m planning a trip to the northern part of norway for next summer. Maybe this is one stop at our tour :-) You have information where to start the hike and where the lake is exactly?

Thanks! The lake is called blauvatnet and the route is well signed. There is a parking next to the road on the way to Nordlenangen, you have to take the ferry to Svensby from Tromso. It is around 10km from the Svensby.

Thanks a lot I saved the dates :-)
