The city of León in Nicaragua is full of culture and history. And as you walk along the city streets you will see remnants of a world past with all of the beautiful Spanish architecture. Nicaragua is one of my favorite Central American countries to visit due to it's cheap prices for food and hostels, volcanoes everywhere you look, plus the amount of culture that is packed into this one place.

Woow looks breath taking I love Nicaragua my best friend is from there so I've been a couple times and it is a hidden gem for sure! great post following for sure!

Oh nice! Yeah, it's one of those places that most people probably don't even think about. But you can beat the prices, the beauty, and the history. I know I'll be going back one day. I really want to go to Corn Island off the coast. :)

OH! I'd love to visit the corn islands as well! Sigh

Gorgeous picture!

León was among my favourite places to visit in Nicaragua. It was bursting with vibrant colour and culture. My husband and I are making the move to Nica in July, and León is at the top of my list as the city to make a home in.
