CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Rope Dart 101: From No Where To Now Here/Spins (Beginner) ::

This class will focus on the fundamental aspects of Rope Dart Spins and crack open the Golden Thread that connects all Rope Dart techniques! Did you know that every Rope Dart technique on the planet can begin with one simple motion? Learn the beginner secrets that will assist in understanding the Rope Dart at its very core! This understanding will make learning the most advanced techniques relatively easy to understand. Students will be introduced to terminology, basic spins and basic footwork. Training methods and best practice philosophy will also be covered. Master the basics, master the Rope Dart!

Rope Dart 102: We're Here! Now What?/Shots (Intermediate) ::

This class will build on the previous class. Here, students will be introduced to 'Shots', which are projections of the Rope Dart using various body joints (elbow, knee, foot)! Once an understanding of shots is acquired, students will be encouraged to combine Spins from the first class with Shots to perform Spin-Shot combinations! Training methods and best practice philosophy will also be covered.

Rope Dart 103: Wait! I Can Do That?! (Advanced) ::

This class builds on the previous class. Here students will be introduced to 'Wraps'. A wrap's inherent appearance makes the player look as if they are tied up - however, the 'knots' are an illusion! Once understanding of wraps is acquired, students will be encouraged to combine all they've learned to create Wrap-Spin-Shot combinations! Training methods and best practice philosophy will also be covered.

Rope Dart 104: Wraps & Empty Knots ::

Students will be introduced to stacking multiple wraps, by assuming 'empty knots' to be used with spins and shots to make advanced Rope Dart combinations! Training methods and best practices philosophy will also be covered.

Rope Dart 105: Contact! ::

Students will be introduced to "Contact" Rope Dart play - East Coast style! Contact Rope Dart play happens by manipulating the Rope Dart without the use of hands! Techniques such as Manacle wraps, Basket wraps, Smash Shots, Poki's (repetitive elbow shots), Rising Smash Wraps, Contact 'cheats' as well as basic Spins and shots will all be utilized within Contact style! Training methods and best practice philosophy will also be covered.

Rope Dart 106: Dark Wall ::

This class will introduce students to the wall plane behind their body known as Dark Wall! Dark Wall adds a mysterious and alluring element to Rope Dart - especially when performing for a crowd! Sexy entrances and exits into Dark Wall Techniques such as spins, shots and wraps can be performed in Dark Wall. Super Sexy concepts such as Sunrise and Non-Stalls will be explored while in Dark Wall too! Transitions from front of body to back of body will be covered as well! Training methods and best practice philosophy will also be covered.
