Candyfloss mountain anyone?
Sometimes it's worth it getting up before dawn and braving the freezing cold conditions to get a good shot.
I should have more photos of this, but I ended up just standing there and enjoying the view.

It certainly was. It started out purple, then went to pink, and almost red, before the sun hit it and it was a brilliant white.

It was a pretty rare day. Having said that, I had four days in a row of this sort of sunrise.
I'll try to get some video next time so you can watch it. It will be almost like being there, except you won't have to freeze your toes off ;-)
