Walking from the Juarez Metro Station, I opted to explore the area around my hostel. My Greek-American friend who'd been through Mexico a few months before me remarked on how there seemed to be an abundance of Greek Gods, which was surprising to me. Poseidon, in particular. And sure enough, walking through a park near Juarez, I came across an awesome statue begging to be photographed in the morning light. If anyone knows why there's so much Greek cultural recognition in Mexico, I'd love to hear more!
