Hello friends
With the name of eight-horned badiana it is known in the East.
I have always been fascinated by the shape of its fruits.

But from what I've been able to read, it's not just me that fascinates me.
In Japan since time immemorial it is planted in temples, cemeteries and they make their incenses with the bark of this plant.

In China it was used to give aroma to the house and remove stomach problems.
I've always heard since I was little that children needed anise tea to calm their guts
With amounts of beneficial properties for the body.
But today we only capture her beauty

With its eight points and its seeds inside it looks like a Christmas ornament.
All the photographs are taken at home and as a great fan or vicious of coffee, they are also part of this composition.

Roasted coffee with its glossy black color and sticky texture make the picture shine.
In some I incorporate the flowers as a little color goes well.

As the cold arrives and it is nut season they also had to be incorporated
There are two types of walnuts, the one from Castile, which is ours for a lifetime, very good for the body, with its hard shell and great texture, on the contrary, the Pecan nut or paper skin and its name says it all. , its skin is thin and its shape is elongated.

Cinnamon could not be absent either with its sweet aroma and present in almost all desserts.

Combined they make this still life unique.
