Its not too common to see the wild horses in our areas of the rockies, but there are a few regions where they are the most common. We hiked there recently as a nice spring hike and were luck to come upon some with a young fowl as well. We have our own horses on our acreage, so its especially a treat to see some of the wild ones raising young in our area.
