Green - the Color of Hope

Today I am showing you some Green captures from my travels in Bulgaria and Djerba. One showing a typical traditional house - the other one a lazy cat enjoying the sunset surrounded by the green leaves on the top of a garden wall. I hope you like them and join the Color Challenge topic Thursday Green by @kalemandra - show the colour of hope to the community - we all sit in one boat.

Grün bedeutet Hoffnung oder?

So liebe Freunde der Fotografie und des Steem - heute hab ich zwei Fotos mit Grün Tönen ausgewählt für die Color Challenge, u.a. eine typische Hausfront auf Djerba sowie eine faule Katze, die ich bei untergehender Sonne auf einer Mauer räkelt, umgarn von grünen saftigen Blätter. Klingt das nicht schön - hoffen wir mal, dass der Freitag nicht zu blutig wird :-).

    Das liegt an der speziellen Situation! Sunny Beach war ich ein einziges mal, sonst eben primär in Burgas und Umland.

          It's beautiful! I never realize we can see it as color of hope. But green color is nature... And it's life... And then life can be related to hope too... Great...

                      What makes you say green means hope? I've always attribute hope to the color blue for some reason.

                        In Germany we have that as a proverb, learned as a kid - checked Wikipedia and they say:

                        "In surveys made in Europe and the United States, green is the color most commonly associated with nature, life, health, youth, spring, hope and envy."

                        So - might be different across various regions.
