Traditional outlets

in photography •  7 years ago

Traditional outlets of Banda Aceh-Sigli street side, selling fruits from local community crops. We find these traditional outlets in Sp.Bututong, Laweung, Pidie (Coordinates: 5.454579, 95.824061). This seems to be the selling style of these people, they sell the same fruits and look the same outlets and served by female servants . The target buyers are passing people.

In this traditional outlet, the price is slightly cheaper than sold in the inner city markets, the price is set per fruit, per pile and bananas are priced per subgroup.

I took these photos when I was traveling from Banda Aceh to Lhokseumawe, I bought 4 cavendish banana subgroup.

Here's the price list I convert to US Dollar:

  • Pumpkin: 1.8 USD per piece (depending on size)
  • Cavendish banana: 0.7 USD per subgroup
  • Cucumber: 0.37 USD per stack
  • Papaya: 0.52 USD per piece (depending on size)
